2Jim StephensonThursday 11st April at 21:47I have recently come by the original Columbia Records contract signed by all members of the Shufflers. They signed originally as "Ye Blues Shufflers" and were managed by Al [Alboan] Glass, care of "Pappy" Ted Bryant. The band members who signed were Al Glass, Tommy Roseberry, Richard Chandler, Melvin Glass, Ernest Joe Burke, and Charles Young. The name Cortez Fous is nowhere on the original contract. The contract is dated April 8, 1954 and they agreed to record four tracks.
