    Biography :

    Back in the middle 1950’s, The Orlandos had many good singers and especially their lead singer, Ronald Harris had a voice like Frankie Lymon, the lead singer of the Teenagers .The Orlandos were founded by their bass singer, George Davis who had a beautiful and far ranging bass voice. The other member of the Orlandos were George Richardson (falsetto) and Doug Grant. They occur locally for several years and over the years, other young men joining the Orlandos as vacancies, occurred were: Robert Wallace, lead and first tenor, Steve Martin, lead and first tenor, Robert Clark, first tenor, Keith White, first tenor, Leroy Foster, baritone and James Eskridge,bass..

    Biography :

    Vocal Group from Oklahoma City composed by Paul O' Connor, Keith Gwillians, Wes Clanahan, Dan Bowers and Kenton Kidd. The group was managed  by Venita Cravens who brought all of the big shows to Oklahoma City? and who promised them they would be on all the major shows. The Continentals warmed up the audience for many big-name stars such as the Four Preps, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, the Platters and Ricky Nelson. The group will be content with covers and will never record songs.

    Biography:

    Lakewood Senior High School singing group formed in 1958 and composed by James Bell, James Gibson, Fred Green, Stanley Samuels and Jimmy Waters. In 1958, they has been entertaining high school students at talent shows and school dance.

    Unfortunately, I don't think they are the Jaytones managed by Julius Dixon who recorded at the same time for Timely and Brunswick records. Some sources say The JayTones on Timely and Brunswick were an Italian American trio. If anyone has information about the group, don't hesitate to contact me at:

The Preludes were composed by Gene Antonio , Tony Freda , Ralph Conti , Emanuele Alfano & Charles Sousa. They perform locally but will never have the opportunity to record their music.
