    Biography :

This group began in Detroit around 1949 or 1950. All members performed lead chores at one time or another. This Fascinators group was the same Fascinators that appeared on the Roadhouse LP. The Your Copy label was owned by record shop owner Monroe Horn. The group's discs were cut in the rear of a record shop with fair musicians and poor equipment.

                                                                                           DJ Al Benson

In 1955 they travelled to Chicago to meet the legendary DJ Al Benson (geboren Arthur B. Leaner) who owned Parrot Records, of which Blue Lake was a subsidiary label. They recorded 'Can't Stop' and 'Don't Give My Love Away' at Universal Recording, but the record never went anywhere; Benson had no real distribution network, and no employees — he ran Parrot and Blue Lake out of his house on the South Side.
