    Biography :

    Not much is known about The Marlins. All is know that they were a white doo-wop group from Mobile, Alabama. Their Names are Bob Cantrell, Billy Alexander, Franklin E. Cobb, and Kirk Middleton. The Marlins have recorded only once in 1957 for the Sandy Record Company. Short-lived, yet influential, independent label founded in Mobile, Alabama by Paul DuBose and Johnny Bozeman in early 1957. It launched the careers of many artists such as Ray Sawyer, lead vocalist of Dr. Hook And The Medicine Show.
