    Biography :

    Group from Petersburg, Va. consisted of lead singer Joe Jefferson, William Spratley, Clyde Robertson, Joseph Cooper and Joseph Harper.  The group cut two singles for Richmond's legendary Nu Kat label Owned by Benjamin F. Allen. Benjamin F Allen wrote all the songs under the name Jonie Jon. Most of the groups he used were from Petersburg and Richmond.
