Biography :
The Leeds from New York, Formed by Walter Lee, Joe Zellers, his brother Doug, Angelo Martino and Joe LaRocca. The name "Leeds" is an extension of Walter Lee. In 1959, the group signing a recording contract with Wand Record and cut one single. Wand Records was started by Florence Greenberg in 1961 as a subsidiary of Scepter Records. Artists on Wand Records included The Isley Brothers, The Kingsmen and Chuck Jackson.
