Biography :

The Questions are Tom Gerard, Carmine Izzo, Jimmy Markey and Bobby Benedict. Eventually, Carmine Izzo left the group and Eddie Ibanez and Chris Schettini came in.


The Questions

The Questions was formed around 1958 at white plains high school and they all pitched in to arrange "Have a Heart"

   
Later they became The Del Rays.

They recorded the record at alego studio in new york city.

With a Heavy...Heavy Heart, we have to say goodbye to the lead-singer and songwriter of the  Doo Wop group, The Del Reys: Mr. Bobby Benedict, my Dad - your fellow band member -  (Jimmy Markey) took this one hard. But, my Dad and I know that; You- Mr. Benedict, Lou Ibanez and my other Uncle, Carmine Izzo, are up there in heaven, sitting on cloud, harmonizing together once again. I only was lucky enough to meet you once, but your name was a fixture in our home. And the record that you and Del Reys made back in 1959, is proudly displayed on my shelf, And, I listen to it often. Rest in peace Bobby Benedict. My Dad misses you.
